Making a business more accessible can be a long process that requires analysis, decision making, and some resources. Begin by designating an ADA Manager, and dedicating resources to assist them in carrying out their job. Some larger organizations create an accessibility team that delegates HR, facilities, operations, marketing, and communication functions that deal with accessibility.
See Step InformationCreate a Welcoming Statement
Once you have your ADA team and are ready to start updating your company. Let the public know that you welcome people with disabilities in your business and create a method for community feedback. Use this feedback to improve the rest of your transition and prioritize which areas to evaluate first.

Make a plan: your business’ plan for what, how, and when to address each barrier. Staying organized and getting feedback from each department in your business will make this step much smoother.
